Serengeti District has an area of 10373 sq km and the National Park itself takes an area of 7000 sq km, of which 258 sq km is a game reserve and 659 sq km is occupied by people who do farming and cattle keeping. This district is mostly occupied by Serengeti National Park. in the country.
